The core product range includes
C Frame Solenoid
Used as: > Shunt Trip coil in EHV/HV & MV/CBs-VCB/SF6. > Shunt Trip coil in LV circuit breaker > Interlock in Isolating switch/ Earthing switch.
Permanent Magnet Solenoids
Also known as Latching solenoids, they use permanent magnet for making the magnet circuit. they use holding power of permanent magnet attraction to hold position, which results in energy saving & get released by supplying a reverse polarity pulse.
Laminated Solenoid
Laminated Solenoids allow for extremely short closing times and very high initial attracting forces. These solenoids are manufactured by using specialist techniques that use many thin sheets or laminations, that are individually insulated and assembled to form a ‘stack’ for the housing and yoke.
Rectangular Solenoid
Rectangular Solenoids provide high force stroke characteristic due to more iron area (rectangular shape) in lesser space. This construction is used where more solenoids are to be accommodated in lesser space and with high force and short stroke length
Tubular Solenoid
Tubular Solenoids provide a fairly flat force stroke characteristic due to their tubular shape and their plunger geometry. They are well suited for applications asking for long strokes and higher forces. These are quite robust in construction and can offer a variety of mechanical end links between plunger and the driven mechanism. Some of the […]
Latch type Solenoid – Series / Shunt trip
These are solenoid driven stored energy devices with user selectable range of operation so as to customize them for tripping a MV Circuit breaker in the Over current & Earth fault conditions. This device can also be customized to serve as auxiliary shunt tripping device.
Dashpot/ Shock absorber assemblies
Hydraulic, spring assisted Shock Absorbers or Dampers are used in MV VCBs for damping operation of the main operating shaft. These can be customized for Force Vs Stroke requirements.
D Frame Solenoid
Open Frame Solenoids are the most cost effective version of linear solenoids. They are used in many versions in all kind of applications. These are essentially either PULL or PUSH type. Some of the commonly used solenoids manufactured by us are shown below. These can be either customized to suit individual specifications of Pull/ Push […]
